Mineral Resources (MRL) is proud to announce a multi-year partnership with the Foundation for the WA Museum (FWAM), helping ensure our world-class museum continues to inspire the Western Australian community.
As an inaugural donor to the FWAM’s International Exhibition Fund, MRL will support the WA Museum Boola Bardip in bringing high-profile exhibitions to Western Australia and ensure it remains an innovative and engaging location for cultural enrichment.
International museum exhibitions play a key role supporting the cultural exchange, and MRL’s support of the FWAM will help attract overseas exhibitors to Western Australia to strengthen community connections, grow our economy and demonstrate our state’s appetite for international content.
Managing Director Chris Ellison said MRL was delighted to partner with the FWAM to support its valuable work educating and inspiring visitors about our great state.
“As a proud Western Australian company, MRL’s success relies on our people and building strong community connections,” Ellison said.
“We know museums play a key role in educating people about our past, our present and what’s happening in the world around us. They are also a place that brings communities together.
We’re really pleased to partner with the Foundation for the WA Museum to support the Museum’s Special Exhibitions Gallery and help bring world-class exhibitions and programs to the people of Western Australia to inspire, engage and educate the next generation.”
FWAM CEO Jenny Allen said MRL’s commitment to the International Exhibitions Fund would help ensure more Western Australians enjoy the wonders of international storytelling.
“We value the support of visionary donors like Mineral Resources,” Allen said.
“They share our passion for supporting world-class exhibitions, innovative education programs and ground-breaking research, which builds cultural capital in our state and ensures the WA community has a world-class inspiring museum into the future.”
MRL is committed to supporting the communities where we operate and is thrilled to be helping Western Australia’s largest cultural institution engage, inform and inspire our community.
