It is all systems ‘go’ at our Parker Range Iron Ore Project, with project development kicking off last month. The project forms a critical part of supporting the Yilgarn Hub expansion plans.
Sitting around 85km from our Koolyanobbing site, the project development consists of a 99-person village and approximately 90 kilometres of roadworks. There is extensive mining infrastructure in development as well, including site offices, site workshops, wash-down bays, water treatment, a refuelling facility and mining earthworks.
Our operations will continue to bring significant direct employment to the Yilgarn region across the mine and related infrastructure, as well as indirect employment for people whose goods and services support our operations in the Yilgarn and our shipping out through Esperance Port.
