We were delighted to fund the construction of the Rockingham Police and Community Youth Centres (PCYC)’s new purpose-built training facility for young people in Rockingham.
The facility will give at risk youth the opportunity to learn technical skills in a hands-on environment, via PCYC’s certified training courses such as their award-winning Weld to Life programme.
Gary Gray, General Manager of External Affairs and Diana Wearing Smith, Communications Manager, were invited to tour the new facility alongside David van Ooran, PCYC CEO and Justin Sambell, PCYC Rockingham Centre Manager.
“The training facility is a fantastic way to reach even more young people in Rockingham and surrounding areas and help give them the tools they need to succeed. Mineral Resources is thrilled to be involved in this great initiative,” said Gary Gray.
The training facility will welcome its first intake in early 2020.
