We are continually looking at ways we can fill future talent gaps and in demand roles to support the future growth of our company.
Recently we welcomed 18 Entry Level Operators to our training programme, who will join our mining team at Mt Marion, Koolyanobbing and Iron Valley.
This is the second intake for the programme and it has enabled us to successfully fill market gaps, while growing a second-generation MRL workforce.
As we grow and expand, we continue with our commitment to create a more diverse and inclusive workforce. We are proud that compared to our first intake we have increased our female participation in the programme from 53% to 68%, as well as our indigenous participation from 6% to 11%.
