Eligible community groups are invited to apply for grants up to $10,000 to support health and wellbeing, education, Indigenous engagement and environment initiatives.

Grant Application Timelines
Early Consideration
Community projects or events requiring a funding decision during the review period, may be considered for an “early consideration” if the application is submitted within seven days of the grant opening. Early Consideration must be mentioned in the event date section.
Understanding the Application Process
- Check your organisation is eligible against the criteria
- Submit application
- Application reviewed
- We’ll notify successful and unsuccessful applicants
- Funds distributed to successful applicants
- Project completed. Provide receipts and final report to MinRes.
MinRes has full and sole discretion in approving or declining community grant applications and may not choose to support a request in its entirety.
