Tim Picton

Director Strategy
Tim joined MinRes in 2022 following a distinguished career in senior political and government roles across Australia, with a focus on infrastructure and sustainability.
Before joining MinRes, Tim led complex transactions, developed policy, managed major infrastructure programs and navigated critical stakeholder negotiations at state and national levels.
As Director Strategy, he is responsible for long-term planning, market engagement, strategic positioning and growth initiatives. His role also oversees business development and helps safeguard MinRes’ social licence to operate.
Tim works closely with senior leaders, current and prospective partners, as well as government, industry and community stakeholders to drive growth, innovation and collaboration.
He holds a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and serves on the Board of the WA Chamber of Minerals and Energy.
