Cookie Notice
This Cookie Notice was last reviewed and updated on 28 October 2026.
This Cookie Notice explains how Mineral Resources Limited (MinRes, we, our) uses cookies and pixel tracking technologies across our websites (Sites):
- mineralresources.com.au
- careers.mineralresources.com.au
- Employee platforms including Onboarding, People Logistics and My Share
What are cookies and tracking technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites function and provide information on how pages are used. Cookies on our Sites are either first party (set by us) or third party (set by services we use).
We also use tracking pixels, which are small pieces of code that send session information to third-party providers (like Meta and Google) to measure analytics and ad performance. Unlike cookies, pixels do not store information on your device.
When a cookie or tracking pixel loads, the following information may be sent to the provider:
- The page you visited and when.
- Your IP address.
- Your browser and device information.
- Identifiers that may link your visit to an account you hold with that provider.
Cookies we collect
We categorise cookies in line with common industry practice:
| Category | Purpose | Providers |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Required for our Sites to function. | Amazon Web Services, Web Application Firewall (AWS WAF), Google DoubleClick, LinkedIn. |
| Analytics | To understand how visitors use our Sites to improve performance. | Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, ISSUU, TikTok. |
| Advertising | To measure ad performance and show you MinRes ads on other sites. | Google Ads, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, ISSUU, Google DoubleClick, YouTube. |
| Functional | To enable enhanced features (e.g. embedded content). | ISSUU, Clinch, YouTube. |
We only collect ‘strictly necessary’ and ‘analytics’ cookies on our employee platforms. We do not collect advertising or functional cookies.
Managing your preferences
Most browsers allow you to block or restrict cookies, or to delete cookies already stored on your device. Some browsers and extensions also offer tracking protection and advertising privacy settings. The options available, and their effect, vary by browser, device and provider, and they may not prevent all information from being collected or shared.
Deleting cookies removes them from your device only. It does not remove information a provider has already received. Adjusting advertising settings may reduce personalised ads but does not stop ads from being shown. Blocking some cookies may affect how our Sites work.
To learn more, check the Help menu of your browser or refer to the OAIC guidance.
Who can access your cookie information
Information collected through cookies and tracking pixels may be sent to third-party providers for analytics and advertising purposes. These providers may combine your information with activity from other sites you visit to build advertising profiles. MinRes does not access or control those profiles. We only receive aggregated reports (e.g. ad click volumes).
Your information may be processed in the following locations:
| Provider | Processing location |
|---|---|
| Google (GA4, Google Ads) | United States and global |
| ISSUU | United Kingdom |
| United States | |
| Meta (Facebook/Instagram) | United States and Ireland |
| Microsoft (Clarity) | European Union (Ireland) and United States |
| TikTok | United States, Ireland and Singapore |
How long will cookies remain on my device?
Some cookies remain on your device while you are browsing (session cookies) and are removed when you close your browser. Persistent cookies (i.e. some analytics and advertising cookies) stay on your device for a set period, ranging from a few days up to several months, or until you choose to delete them. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings.
