Underpinned by external client contracts and the growth of MinRes’ Onslow Iron project, the Mining Services division recorded production volumes of 166 million tonnes (Mt) and Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) of $488 million, up 29% on the prior corresponding period.
CSI is one of the largest crushing contractors globally, with 28 installed plants representing a capacity of 167 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa).
MinRes Chief Executive Mining Services Mike Grey said the division had a history of bringing crushing and processing innovations to the market.
“At its core, CSI provides build-own-operate crushing and screening plants and mobile crushing equipment for some of the world’s largest mining companies across commodities such as iron ore, lithium and gold,” Mike said.
“Our focus has always remained on delivering efficient solutions to crush and process ore as safely and quickly as possible, which delivers real value to our clients. This has never been more evident than during the first half of FY26, when we delivered an exceptional result.”
“CSI’s continued growth is testament to the quality people within our division and their ability to take complex situations and projects, distil a solution and work with other MinRes divisions to deliver them on time and on budget.”

One of CSI’s most significant recent innovations has been the development of the NextGen modular crusher, which replaces higher-cost fixed plants and improves the environmental impact of crushing construction and operations.
With capacity ranging from five to 50Mtpa, NextGen crushers deliver significant lower dust and noise emissions, consume less energy, can be rapidly deployed in remote operations and feature carbon fibre screens manufactured in-house at CSI’s Carbonart facility in Bibra Lake.
Three NextGen crushers are installed at Onslow Iron in the West Pilbara – representing an installed capacity of up to 45Mtpa – and have played a vital role in the successful ramp-up to nameplate capacity of 35Mtpa.
“Our NextGen crushers have performed exceptionally at Onslow Iron,” Mike said.
“In January 2025 we took carriage of the final crushing plant and since then we’ve made improvements where needed, which contributed to us crushing 15.9Mt of iron ore in FY25.”
“The team we’ve assembled on site has played a leading role in getting the most out of our plant, thanks to their industry-leading knowledge and understanding of the way our ore moves through the three trains to produce a single fines product.”
CSI operates in Western Australia, the Northern Territory and Queensland and supports MinRes projects and external clients by providing capital infrastructure and whole-of-life operational expertise.
By delivering client-first, pit-to-ship solutions, CSI continues to bring world-class projects into operation on time and on budget.
