Attracting and retaining talent
Providing opportunities to attract new talent and support our workforce.

Our commitment
At MinRes, we are committed to providing learning and development pathways, fair and transparent remuneration and benefits, and creating a positive workplace culture to attract, support and retain talented people.

Our approach
We believe our people are the foundation of our business and are instrumental to our ongoing success. We secure talent by offering a range of benefits including competitive pay, state-of-the-art facilities and an engaging and motivating culture. The services and support we provide our people ensure they are treated fairly, have access to career development opportunities and have a positive employee experience.
At MinRes, we recognise that building a positive workplace culture, including both social and psychological environments, improves the attraction and retention of talent, employee satisfaction, engagement and overall productivity.
In FY25, we introduced a refresh set of organisational values that reflect our aspirations for the future and align with our vision for a strong, high performing culture.
Attracting and retaining top talent is essential to the growth of our business. We employ a range of initiatives to attract and retain skilled talent in critical roles.
- Your Voice survey – this annual employee engagement tool enables us to identify what matters most to our people. One of the key developments from the survey conducted in FY24 was the launch of our internal employee recognition program the ‘Go The Extra Mile’ (GEM) Awards. The monthly program recognises employees who go above and beyond, living our values in their daily work.
- Renumeration, rewards and employee benefits – we provide fixed competitive renumeration, bonus and incentive plans, and employee share plans to enable our employees to share in the long-term success of the business.
- Employee wellbeing – we continue to invest in facilities which ensure the wellbeing of our workforce and provide the following services.
- MinRes Air
- Mungala Resort
- MinRes Early Learning Centre
- Walters Drive head office
We provide opportunities for our people to develop their skills and grow a successful career with MinRes. We currently provide bespoke training for leadership development, trade and trainees, professional pathways and new to industry. Learn more about our programs.
