Colleen Hayward

Qualifications: BAEd, BApplSc, Member AICD, PgCert (Cross Sector Partnerships)
Colleen is a respected senior Noongar woman who has held senior appointments at community, state and national levels. Her experience spans health, education, training, employment and law, including at Edith Cowan University where she is an Emeritus Professor in the School of Education.
In 2012, Colleen was inducted into the WA Women’s Hall of Fame and recognised as a Member of the General Division of the Order of Australia. In 2015, she was celebrated as one of Murdoch University’s Distinguished Alumni for her work in the areas of equity and social justice.
Colleen has served as a board member with the Fremantle Football Club since 2017 and the Western Australian Cricket Association since 2022.
Her awarded work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities lends important skills and knowledge that will strengthen MinRes’ approach to cultural heritage, Traditional Owner partnerships, and community engagement.
