MinRes leadership update

Mineral Resources (MinRes) announces Chief Executive Lithium Joshua Thurlow has resigned from his role at the company.

Published on 1 October 2026

Thurlow joined the business in 2019 and over the past four years has overseen the continued growth of MinRes' lithium assets and partnerships.

Managing Director Chris Ellison said he was grateful for Thurlow’s leadership.

"Josh's contribution has helped strengthen MinRes' position as a leading spodumene producer,” Ellison said.

"He will pursue new opportunities overseas and on behalf of everyone at MinRes, I wish him all the best for the future."

Thurlow will remain in his role at MinRes until December to support a smooth leadership transition.

More information will be shared when appropriate.
